They have a rare opportunity opening up for an experienced Hands on Head Chef to lead a kitchen team working in a creative environment. As the Head Chef you will be responsible for delivering excellence on a plate for all guests dinning in the stylish restaurant within a beautiful hotel. The successful Head chef will be known for having a contagious passion for excellence, a great eye-for detail and a talent for creative, innovative ideas to share with the GM and brigade. The hotel is a small hotel that does not have a banqueting or wedding department which will allow the right Head Chef to have the style to be a trend setter, not a follower; also have the courage to experiment with the ability to deliver. You must have the confidence to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen yet be passionate enough to be “hands-on” with the kitchen brigade. You will have previous experience in a same/similar role within a quality, restaurant/hotel environment. It is essential the right head chef will have and can demonstrate a strong people management ability setting and maintaining standards set out in all health and safety requirements needed in a busy working kitchen.
