Head Chef / Executive Head Chef – Luxury Hotels, High-Volume & Fine Dining
This highly experienced Head Chef brings over 20 years’ leadership experience across luxury hotels, branded restaurants, golf resorts, and large-scale banqueting venues. With a proven track record in both premium dining and high-volume operations, this candidate is ideally suited to 4-star and 5-star hotels, destination venues, and multi-outlet hospitality businesses.
Currently operating at Executive / Head Chef level, the candidate has extensive experience leading large kitchen brigades, overseeing multi-outlet food operations, and delivering large-scale weddings, events, and banquets of up to 240 covers, all while maintaining strong quality control and brand consistency.
Classically trained, they combine traditional culinary foundations with a modern, commercially focused approach to menu development. Menus are built around seasonal and locally sourced produce, balancing creativity with strong GP performance and guest appeal. This approach has consistently delivered improved profitability alongside enhanced guest satisfaction.
A recognised strength lies in team leadership and development. The candidate is known for building stable, high-performing kitchen teams, mentoring senior chefs, and creating structured kitchen environments that perform under pressure. They are confident managing recruitment, rotas, training, and performance while maintaining excellent kitchen culture and retention.
Financially astute, they have full accountability for GP control, stock management, supplier negotiation, and budgeting, with a strong compliance background covering HACCP, food safety, allergens, and COSHH. Their experience includes both branded restaurant standards and independent luxury operations, making them highly adaptable.
