Candidate Details

This candidate is an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Technician, IT Systems Co-ordinator and Administrator with over 15 years’ experience across IT support, business administration, operations coordination and stock control.

Based in the Northwest, they are seeking both IT support roles and administrative/office-based positions, offering a versatile skill set that bridges technical operations and business support functions.

Currently operating in a 2nd Line IT Support capacity within a fast-paced financial services environment, they provide end-to-end technical support across head office teams and a 500-strong broker network.

Their experience spans:
• 1st & 2nd Line IT Support
• Active Directory & User Account Management
• Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration
• Windows & Mac OS Support
• Remote Desktop & Multi-Site Troubleshooting
• IT Security & Compliance Support
• Ticketing Systems & Incident Management
• Onboarding & Offboarding Processes
• Technical Documentation & System Updates

They have played a key role in managing IT onboarding processes, coordinating with third-party IT providers, maintaining compliance records, configuring user profiles with high accuracy, and delivering face-to-face IT inductions. Their ability to troubleshoot complex issues while maintaining strong user relationships makes them particularly effective in service-led environments.

In addition to technical expertise, this candidate brings extensive administration and operations management experience, including:
• Office management and general administration
• Stock and asset control (20,000+ assets managed)
• SAP system usage (procurement, purchase orders, invoicing)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting and data analysis
• Operations coordination across multiple teams
• Compliance documentation review (insurance, COSHH, method statements)
• Customer service and stakeholder communication
• Call centre management and team supervision

Their background demonstrates strong organisational skills, attention to detail, data accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They are confident producing reports, maintaining electronic filing systems, coordinating schedules, and supporting senior leadership with operational insight.

Holding NVQ Levels 1–3 in Business Administration & IT, a GNVQ Intermediate IT qualification, and an Advanced ECDL (BCS Certified), this candidate combines formal training with extensive hands-on experience.
They are proactive, reliable and adaptable — equally comfortable in an IT support environment or a structured administrative role.

With strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently, they would add value to organisations seeking an IT Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, Office Administrator, Operations Administrator or Business Support professional.
