Production Chef

We are on the lookout for a Production Chef to join a thriving family-run hospitality business where your culinary expertise will be valued and your career can flourish in a supportive, professional environment.

Location: Wigan WN6
Schedule – 5 days out of 7 including weekends
Pay - £12.75 - £13.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are working with a highly regarded hospitality venue in the Wigan area to recruit an experienced and motivated Production Chef. The successful candidate will be confident in running a section independently, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation and presentation. You will bring strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and health and safety practices, while also supporting and guiding junior members of the team when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the production kitchen section, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Contribute to menu planning by sharing ideas and creativity.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation in line with Environmental Health and Food Standards regulations.
Complete daily close-down procedures efficiently and effectively.
Ensure correct food storage, stock rotation, and compliance with health and safety policies.
