Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym where I try and do as many strength & cardio classes as possible. I have recently taken up running and signed up to do the Wigan 10K in September! I love an adventure and try to travel and much as possible, most weekends I’ll be away visiting somewhere within the UK.
Interesting Fact
My dad is a big Manchester United fan, so I’m actually named after Sir Alex Ferguson (I’m still more shocked my mum agreed to it)
I have worked for Perfect Recruitment for 2 years, I started as a permanent recruitment consultant and last year moved over to the temporary staffing side. The temporary desk is very face paced, as soon as a booking comes in you need to be ready to phone, email or text our candidates regarding the work.
Prior to Perfect Recruitment I worked in hospitality, I started working as a Host in a restaurant when I was 18 and worked my way up to a supervisor level. I have completed a level 3 Diploma is supervisor in Hospitality. One of my main jobs was to be a cover supervisor for restaurants across the North.
After working in hospitality for more than 7 years I know how difficult staff shortages can be to a business. I take pride in overcoming those struggles by placing relief / temporary staff to help businesses out.
For most of our relief staff this is their full-time job, so we need to make sure we get them as many hours work as possible as like everyone else, they have bills to pay for!
