Experienced and commercially focused Sales & Events professional with 25 years’ experience across hospitality, events, customer service, operations and team leadership. Currently seeking a new opportunity following redundancy, with a strong background in sales, event management, wedding and conference sales, business development, account management and client relationship management.
Brings proven experience generating new business, converting enquiries, managing the full event sales cycle and developing long-term client relationships. Previous achievements include generating £50k+ in new business, significantly increasing Christmas party sales and being recognised with a Sales Team of the Year award.
Recent experience includes managing trade shows, industry events, promotional activity, lead generation, client visits, CRM pipelines and account management, alongside previous responsibility for wedding and event sales at a high-profile golf resort and spa.
An accomplished communicator and relationship builder, with experience managing teams, budgets, suppliers and cross-functional departments. Confident working with clients from initial enquiry through to event delivery, with strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new sales opportunities.
