Meet The Team

Outside of work I am studying at Runshaw College.  I am doing a BTEC in Business and have completed my first year.  I work part time within Perfect Recruitment, and I am also a lifeguard.  In my spare time I am a swimmer.  I have competed up to regional level.  My main stroke is butterfly and backstroke. I have been with the business 6 months and will be with them another year. 

Outside of work I have a 2 year old boy who gives me real purpose and has a busier social calendar than most adults, so I'm forever busy! We're big into walking and exploring the stunning scenery that's on our doorsteps since moving from London, and after those walks what better way to chill out than enjoying some of the best food and drink Lancashire has to offer. I have worked forever in hospitality as a chef in industry then a chef lecturer and manager for 30 years at Runshaw College. I continued to stay in touch with industry by working for many employers over the years at weekends and in the holidays mostly front of house. Outside of Work I am an avid Ultra/ long distance runner who has taken on several ultra distanced races across the UK and have won several/came in the top 3 females and represented various companies including GB Ultras. Also, I have ran the London Marathon 3 times qualifying each year with a good for age entry.Also, I have a love for fine dining and afternoon tea – In my spare time love...

Outside of work what do you enjoy I spend a lot of time with my children and their swimming.  I also love walking my 2 dogs and walk miles every week.  Huge social fan and spend time with my friends eating and drinking my absolute favourite past time. Outside of work during the week I do Repetition and Spinning classes and at weekends I enjoy meeting up for breakfast with friends after a long walk and yoga on Sundays. Retired now but a few years ago I ran lots of 10k races and have done 2 half marathons – Rock and Roll Liverpool and the Great North Run.  (not much to show for 54 years!!!) 2 years in September working...
