Job Opportunity: Head Chef
Location: St Helens
Type: Permanent
Salary: up to £45,000
We are excited to be working with a fantastic client in the St Helens area, supporting them in the growth and development of their longstanding business.
We are looking to speak with an experienced Head Chef, preferably with a background of banqueting and events catering.
Role responsibilities:
• Manage and direct all kitchen operations ensuring that all food safety & hygiene standards are continuously met.
• Lead, manage & develop your team.
• Create and develop exceptional seasonal menus.
• Stock control, placing orders, working with suppliers to negotiate the best prices.
• Rotas, recruitment & appraisals.
• Working within budgets to ensure profitability.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Generating from a high-quality fresh food kitchen.
• Excellent understanding of the financial side of things, budgets, stock controls, labour costs.
• High level organisation and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
