Chef de Partie – Countryside Hotel
Newton Aycliffe, Durham
From £13.00 per hour DOE + Service Charge + Paid Overtime
45 hours per week | Full-time
Perfect Recruitment are working with a well-established countryside hotel in the Durham area, currently looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team.
This is a high-volume operation covering restaurant service, functions, events, and hotel dining, so you’ll need to be confident working in a structured, professional kitchen environment and able to deliver consistent quality across service.
The role:
You’ll take ownership of your section, supporting service across all areas of the kitchen. Working closely with the Sous and Head Chef, you’ll help maintain high standards and deliver well-executed dishes.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis ready to step up
• Confident working with fresh food
• Ability to run a section during service
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergens
• Positive, reliable team player
• Passion for food and willingness to develop
